Been a while since I posted here, but well, I thought it would be worth sharing and maybe spark interest among you :P
I promise, I won’t spam Oppo with stuff I have for sale, but I think this one is worth it :D
It’s a Euro Spec LHD E36 M3...
It’s a 1994 model which means it is US legal and you, americans, can finally get the proper E36 M3 you never got! 131.000km, comfortable and not “ouch my back!” XYZ coilovers, working AC, new NS-2R tires (until friday, I’ll probably kill them at the track...) smooth as hell... no pics of the interior yet, these are just “preview pics” but I’ll bring the car to do a track day test drive on Suzuka Twin Circuit friday, and I’ll do a complete photoshoot while I’m there. Anyway, I’ll post the track day video later, meanwhile, just a few pics of the car itself, taken earlier today ;)
This thing is such a blast to drive... I love JDM stuff, but Germans... they win, for once ;)

The Euro M3 engine is so nice. I've driven 2 different swapped 318tis, one with the US engine and one with the Euro engine and the Euro engine car pulls so much better than the US engine does.

Very nice... With the 3.0 motor, right (not the 3.2)?

I would love to source one of those for my clownshu if the motor ever goes bad. S54 is cool too, but I prefer the real throttle cable feel to drive by wire.

Correct :)
3.2 are later models from 1996 I think?

Not exactly sure, but that one has 80 hp more than the US spec one!

It think it’s closer to 50hp extra for the 3L... the 3.2 should have around 80 more... It’S just not the same engine at all... The USDM E36 M3 had a bored M50 engine for the 325i. It didn’t have much similarities with the EUDM engine.

Both the 3.0 and 3.2 liter US versions had 240 hp, the 3.2 makes more torque.
The 3.0 liter ROW made 286 hp and the 3.2 liter made 316 hp.

As with most things you post, I want it but can’t have it.

IIRC The 1996-1999 M3 (S52B32) shares a head and transmission with the 328 (M52B28 ). The cams, block, and other driveline assemblies are not the same however. There are such parallels between the 1991-1995 M3 (with S50B30) and similar year 325 (M50B25).
